greg dourian - klamath falls, oregon

Originally from Los Angeles, California, Greg joined the on-air staff of radio stations KAGO AM & FM in Klamath Falls, Oregon in May 1988. Within the year he'd made the move to the sales force and became Local Sales Manager within two months. In January, 1997, Greg was named General Manager.

When New Northwest Broadcasters entered Klamath Falls in early 1999, Greg was appointed Director of Sales for the newly established five station Klamath Falls cluster. In March of 2002 Greg was promoted to General Manager of the Klamath Falls cluster, a position he held until his relocation to Yakima, WA in November, 2005. In September, 2007, Greg was promoted to Regional Manager and now oversees operations in NNB’s Yakima and Astoria, Oregon clusters.

Greg is a community oriented man who has been deeply involved in civic organizations and activities, and youth programs in the Greater Klamath Basin for many years. Greg and his wife Rosemary are enjoying being a part of life, and the future, in the Yakima Valley.

Greg largely credits the pursuit of his broadcast career to a summer job taken at Anheuser-Busch in 1978. It was there, at the age of 18 that he had had his first professional encounter with a microphone giving 12 minute brewery tours to groups of 60, twelve times daily. From that point forward, Greg knew his calling was the entertainment business, and radio is unquestionably the most creative of outlet of them all.
