92.1 BOB FM is Anchorage's newest radio station. BOB's primary target audience is adults 25-54.
Who is BOB? BOB is the radio station Alaska listeners demanded: a station that plays less commercials, doesn’t have DJ’s that talk too much, and doesn’t play the same songs over and over again.
BOB plays a wide variety of familiar music, centered on Pop/Rock hits from the 80's and 90's, as well as some songs from the 70's and Today. That’s why we say BOB plays “the 80’s… 90’s… and Whatever”.
BOB has over 1,500 songs in his music library – five times more songs than “normal” radio stations. So BOB can play lots of great music without ever playing any song twice in the same day. It’s kind of like listening to your iPod on “shuffle” – except BOB pays all the download fees!
